GOAL:
The goal of the accreditation process is to facilitate the identification of gaps and challenges at the individual and institutional level that may
impair the rational introduction of antiretroviral therapy with a view to providing the support necessary for the attainment of minimum standards that ensure the provision of quality comprehensive antiretroviral therapy (ART) according to national guidelines.
OBJECTIVE:
The main objective of the accreditation process is to assess a sites readiness for the initiation and/or continuation of antiretroviral therapy.
ACCREDITATION OF SITES:
Accreditation of sites shall be done prior to the initiation of Accreditation of Antiretroviral Therapy (ART). An accredited site shall be re-evaluated every 2 years in order to continue service provision.
